- Excellent question and the answer is essentially unknown as far as clear-cut proof goes, but that is why I don't eat red meat unless it is strictly grass fed (which is available at two locations within 100 miles of where I live. Non-chemical chicken is also becoming more readily available.

- There is good evidence to strongly suggest that vegetarians have a lower rate of cancer risk and that even omnivores who consume much more than average amounts of fruits and vegetables have lower cancer risk. This includes studies of Seventh Day Adventists who espouse being vegetarians.
